WEBB SIMMENTALS TO $11,000
Webb Black Simmentals recorded a positive result for their annual bull sale, held on-property at Glenburn, Victoria, despite the low rainfall in the Southern states.
36 of 42 Black Simmental and SimAngus bulls sold to a top of $11,000 . ‘It was very pleasing to see existing clients return together with some new buyers who have been following the progress of the Black Simmental breed through Webbs’ commented Phillip Webb.
Wrapping up 36 bulls sold to an average of $4170 and young heifers sold to $5,000.
The top bull, Webb Electric G604 sold for $11,000 to Terry Pierce and Kym McConville, Mudgegonga, Vic.
Brett Schulz, Boorook Morven Pastoral Company, was a strong bidder paying a top of $10,000 for Lot 4 Webb Hummer G735, also taking home two other very handy bulls.
R & L Parker from Holbrook took home three outstanding bulls averaging $4,700.
All repeat buyers.
Strathleigh Black Simmentals purchased three bulls to a top of $9,000 for another HC Hummer 12M son.
The majority of the SimAngus bulls on offer were snapped up by Muroka Farms, Foster Victoria.
