Philip’s family began farming back in the 1960s in the Yea region of Victoria.
He founded Webb Black Simmentals in 2006 at Glenburn to provide commercial bulls to the beef industry and a selection of elite females.
The stud was founded with a purchase of frozen embryos from the Butcher family’s Gateway herd in the US.
Philip has pursued a successful real estate career while growing the Webb Black stud herd to more than 500 pure and grade Black Simmentals.
